The Impudent One celebrates, quite publicly and with great glee, the selection of the Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate. He can claim a form of prescience, as he has long said that this pairing would be his "Dream Team". I discounted the idea, arguing that Senator Biden was, in reality, just a two dimensional cartoon character. He countered that characteristic would not be an impediment in the Democrat Party. The combined wisdom of the Democrats seems to side with Impudentus Rex. All hail the Impudent One!

A Man I Am Proud To Call "Friend"
My friend, Mark, is serving his country (and the world) by training police officers in Afghanistan. Here is a picture of him at the Afghan/Iranian border:

His wife and four children wait for his safe return. Say a prayer for his safety when you read this (and future) posts.
